Difficulty hearing or using your voice
Contact us through the National Relay Service (NRS):
- TTY users call 13 36 77 and then ask for 13 22 81 or visit www.accesshub.gov.au to make an internet relay or captioned relay call.
- Speak and Listen users phone 1300 555 727 and then ask for 13 22 81.
- Internet relay users connect to the NRS and then ask for 13 22 81.

Book an appointment
If you’d like to complete a transaction or talk with someone in person you can book an appointment.
You do not need an appointment to visit one of our general walk-in centres.
You need to make an appointment to visit one of our specialised service centres.
To make an appointment use our online form or call us. To make an appointment at our Hume service centre you'll need to call us.

Visit an Access Canberra Service Centre
You can complete most Access Canberra transactions online.
You only need to visit one of our centres if your transaction requires a photo. For example, making an application for:
- driver's licences
- proof of identity documents
- working with vulnerable people cards
- new numberplates for new registrations, transfer of registrations or custom plates.
