CIT student parking ticket
If you’re a full-time Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) student, you may be eligible for a CIT student parking ticket.
Eligibility
If you meet the following criteria, you can apply:
- You are a full-time student at either the CIT Reid campus or Tuggeranong Flexible Learning Centre.
- You can provide proof you are on a low income.
These tickets don’t allow you to park in other reserved parking areas.
Apply for a CIT student parking ticket
To apply for a parking ticket:
- Complete an Application for a CIT student parking ticket (PDF 139KB)
- Collect proof you are on a low income. Acceptable documents are:
- a Centrelink Health Care card
- a Centrelink Pension Card
- an AUSTUDY allowance statement
- an ABSTUDY allowance statement.
- Submit these to the CIT Student Services office at the Reid campus. Bring with you:
- your ACT driver licence
- payment for the fee.
Tickets are valid for one semester only.
Using the ticket
You can use the tickets at:
- 200 Constitution Ave: the unsealed car park on the corner of Coranderrk Street and Constitution Avenue, opposite the CIT Reid campus.
- Opposite 140 Anketell Street: the car park on the corner of Anketell Street and Cowlishaw Street in Greenway, a short walk to the Tuggeranong Flexible Learning Centre.
