Privacy for Automatic Mutual Recognition
Under Part 3A of the Mutual Recognition Act 1992 (Cth) (the Act), ACT licensing and regulatory authorities can collect, use and share your personal information as part of the Automatic Mutual Recognition scheme.

They will share personal and personal health information with other state and territory authorities to manage compliance and enforcement. This includes:
- Information in connection with your automatic deemed registration (ADR), including:
- your name and address
- identifying information about your home state registration
- information about conditions on your home state registration, including any information related to a medical condition
- Information relating to possible or actual civil, criminal or disciplinary action or investigations against you, including reasons for taking the action.
- Information authorised or required to be on a register under ACT legislation for your occupation.
- Updating a public register to record if the ACT cancels or suspends your ADR as allowed by the Act.

Where the outcomes will inform public debate or provide a mutual benefit to the ACT community, de-identified information and data may be provided to government agencies for the purposes of:
- research
- investigation and analysis
- policy and program development.
Licensing and regulatory authorities within Access Canberra, including the Gambling and Racing Commission and Architects Board, will manage your personal information in a manner consistent with:
- the Information Privacy Act 2014
- the Health Records (Privacy and Access) Act 1997
- the CMTEDD Privacy Policy
- other applicable privacy legislation.
Personal information for occupations outside of Access Canberra is managed in accordance with the applicable legislation and the Privacy Policy relevant to that occupation, which includes:
